Palmi is built and operated by VibePalm. You can reach us at business@vibepalm.com for any privacy question.

We only collect what we need to run the app.

Account

• An anonymous Firebase Authentication user ID is created when you first open the app so we can store your data securely.
• Your email address, only if you later choose to sign in with email.

Profile and health preferences

• Basic details you enter yourself: age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and your goal.
• Diet preferences and allergen preferences (used as preferences only, not as a medical or safety guarantee).
• Optional pregnancy status, if you provide it.
• Optional fasting preferences, if you use the fasting timer.

Your logs and content

• Food logs and weight logs you record.
• Recipes you create in the app.
• Fasting sessions, if you use that optional feature.
• Optional medication dose logging, if you enable that feature. This is limited to the doses and schedule you enter. Palmi does not provide medical advice.

Device and technical information

• App version and basic device information.
• Crash logs and analytics events via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, when enabled, to help us fix issues and improve reliability.

Photos

We only access photos if you choose to attach one to a recipe you create, and it is stored for that purpose. Palmi does not include an AI meal scanner and does not send meal photos for AI analysis.

• Calculate and display your calorie and macro targets and tracking.
• Sync your data across your devices via our cloud backend.
• Improve reliability by diagnosing crashes and usage issues.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for optional features and integrations), performance of a contract (to provide the app you asked for), and our legitimate interests (to keep the app secure and reliable). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate Palmi. Please review their privacy policies for details.

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Functions as applicable, used as the app's backend.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — distribution of the app.

Palmi does not use OpenAI or any AI meal-scan processing in the current product.

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We share information only with the processors needed to run the app (such as Firebase / Google and the app store platforms).
• We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account data from our systems within a reasonable period, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.

You can delete your account at any time:

• In the app: go to Profile → Delete my account.
• By email: write to business@vibepalm.com and we will handle the request.

Deletion removes your account data from our systems, subject to any legal retention exceptions.

Palmi is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Palmi is intended for tracking and general wellness information only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Where the app shows health information, sources are cited in-app for your reference.

Because we use Firebase / Google, your information may be processed in the United States or other regions where those providers operate. We rely on our providers' safeguards and applicable transfer mechanisms to protect your information.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email business@vibepalm.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Where permitted by law, continued use of Palmi after an update means you accept the updated policy.
